///City of Gods Part II- Era 1900 BC - The Land of Forgotten Time/// (Closed)

~100 years Later........


Silvian wanted to rebuild the Elders and guardians under new oaths, and chose Aturok to be the new Ice Gaurdian but before the rite could ever be performed he had lift with out a word meanwhile Rune was to be the new Lightning Gaurdian when he finaly decided that he was up for it... He later came to Silvian asking for the position on his own terms, but the remaining Guardians had to agree, for it would not be right of him to decide. Shara and Kon both agreed to the task, and so 20 years went by and at last they felt Rune was ready for guardianship, and so performed the rites of what they remembered, and handed to them the lightning fragment pendents as a sign of a gaurdian. Not only was it a symbol, but it also helped boost ones own power and protected them from there own element.

As time passed the new Deamaria ended up being only a small village, many deamons who were out in the world ether preferred to be among humans or had already a place they wanted to live. While there were some who chose to come and live in the new deamaria to help rebuild it, and with out the protection of the Seeds of Creation, the Ancient Veil just simply could not be created, it was agreed that it was best to keep it small for time being.

Reaching 100 years, the small village grew, but no larger then a average village. They had moments of human contact but nothing that threaten them to have to react. In 100 years much had changed in the out side world, but little had changed in the status of guardianship and Eldership. Five positions remained open for the guardians while they found only a few people who would became elders for them.

Every year they would take a journey to the mountains to honor Kaylays resting place, and then would return for he great hunt as a memorial to all that was lost. Almost believing that there was not going to be a incarnation of Kaylay, that perhaps the Griffin was wrong, out of a fluke of luck and at the same time sadness and surprise, a young woman by the name of El short for Ely, appeared at the gates of the new deamaria and collapsed. She resembled Kaylay, but was beaten up and dirty and so.. now she sits within one of the homes inside the village of deamaria resting. And after so many years of calmness, and not hearing the mysterious singing... finally it had returned to haunt them.. for in her sleep she said the words... "What once came from the heavens.. will return to the heavens.."

The question remains.. who was she running from.. and what happened?

This is the continued story of fate.. and Crystals... This is the City of Gods.....

Silvian was out hunting with Rune, and knew nothing about what happened at the village and the appearance of El. Silvian managed to train him self to use a bow, but was no were as good as Shara and Rune. Taking aim on a nice sized deer, he released the arrow, and watched as the Deer ran away unscratched.

"Glats!!! I can not aim worth Glat with this thing..." Silvian cursed. It was the 4th deer he missed while the others had caught perhaps 3 or so. Silvian confessed that he had no real talent with a bow and wanted to snap his in half. "Easy... Don't break it, its not its fault you cant hit a target.." Rune teased as Silvian tried once again and still failed just as another deer ran off on harmed on him.

Aturok carried the dead deer back towards the small cabin and tied it up and started harvesting it as he deer and looked out across the lake as he walked down through the long grass smelling the fresh spring air and the warm breeze and he sat down looking across the clear blue lake and smiles watching the waves and he closed his eyes and smiled seeing mayla sit beside him and snuggled up into his arms “dinner is ready mylove…somebody wanted to tell you..” he smiled feeling tiny little arms around his neck and climbing up his back leaning on the top of his head between his ears as another little jackal pup runs around and sits on his lap shouting daddy and smiles he smiled picking up his son hugging him as his daughter on his back reached down yanking on the pups tail “Aru..stop yanking on Davi tail…” Mayla Said looking at her and picked her off of Aturoks head as he looked at his family infront of him “it cant get much better then this..” he closed his eyes holding his mate and drifted off into a sleep
Aturok eyes shot open as the beautiful warm spring day turned into a gold damp cave with only the howling wind of the blizzard outside the cave and the sight of a small campfire off to the side of the cave as a tear streamed down his cheek and froze and shattered away as he took a moment thinking of the possible life he could have had and he stumbled to his feet and walked over and crouched by the fire eating a chunk of meat that was cooking keeping warm over it and ate as he reached over and grabbed a rambled makeshift spear he still had the sword he got from the sayons 100 years ago leaning against the wall and on one of the hilts was the black prism hanging from it seeing them he thought back to the day he separated from the others as all his past memories seemed to melt into one long blurr
He walked out to the mouth of the cave and looked out over the mountain ridges as far as he could see he looked up at the sky thinking to himself it had to be about mid day but the days are darker here and he walked out into the blizzard thinking to himself wondering how long he has been out here by himself …long enough where the cold no longer effected him his senses seemed to be heightened more from this experience he walked for hours scouting tracking and after afew hours of nothing he began heading back towards the cave “polara….i wish to speak with you…” He smiled as Polara appeared in the wind and formed in front of him the bond between them hand grown strong over the years of isolation she was the only companion he had there and she guided him as he self taught and mastered his element as he looked around at the snow covered forests “the game have been hard to find….im afraid the mountain men may have driven them off”
Polara smiled and bowed her head to Aturok “hello…. My dear friend…you will have to not worry about it Aturok..the time has come for you to rejoin your brothers and sisters…you have mastered your element and became a powerful warrior…now the time has come for you to return..and take your place amongst your people they will be in need of your aid again…you have past all tests but one…” Polara pointed off to that mountain there’s a cave..there you will find your last test…” she broke down into nothing as he returned back to his have and took a fur cloak and some food and took off to the mountain he was told to
After almost a full days walk of treading throught the snow as he continued he began picking up scents and noises of foot prints and he growled lowly “damn mountain men..” he growled holding his spear tight he was now at the base of the mountain and began the long tread up the mountain as the smell was getting closer as he increased his pace until he spun around expecting one to be right behind him finding nothing he turned and seen a huge furry tree in front of him as the abominable swiped at him he doged down avoiding it as he quickly ran up the hill as the sound of the beast chasing him right when he caught up to him Aturok swung around lunging the spear into the abominable face causeing its roars to stop and gurlgle from as he pulled the spear out as the gurgling stopped and the sounds of more roaring filled the air and he looked around seeing more abominables ready to chase him as he started running..after he took off they did just that after he startd running up on the hill him killing whatever ones got close until he came up to a cave

Aturok ran inside as they followed close behind but before they got to close the beasts seemed scared and turned and ran away “come back her you mindless scourge!!” aturok snarled and turned and look at the massive cavern as it the entire mountain was hallowed out to the very top he placed his hand on the wall realizing the stone it was “blue onyx?....” he leaned over the edge seeing the stones loose and apart of the structure went on for miles as a raspy low voice filled the air “so…you are the guardian now…haven’t had your kind here for a great many years…” Aturok looked around trying to figure out where the voice was from only seeing rocks
One of the larger shapes in the darkness below and climbed up a tall spire in the center of the cavern what looked like a massive dragon as aturok raised his spear to it “don’t raise your weapon to me guardian or it will be your last mistake!..” the beast roared but it came across sounding more like a close crack from thunder as the cavern shook some and it whipped its tail and s slight wind sound as four 3 ft long spikes sunk in the snow at Aturoks feet “you are here for your last trial….but to do it you will need a weapon..the beast whipped its tail again as spike flew hitting into the wall and lowred its head as lighting arcs travel up its neck to its head and struck out to the spikes in the wall destroying a portion of ice that formed over it as Aturok walked over seeing a weapon case with to 3 foot long spikes in there at the ends of them looked like a handle “that guardian is a element from my world across the black ocean…it will be a strong sources of your power…its indestructible…use it well…now little one…your trial is this…the mountain men plagued my mountain since the beginning kill them…and leave..thier blood will be the fuel for the spikes…now go..before I change my mind..” the creature dropped back down into the darkness
Aturok grabbed the spikes seeing they had bladed edges like a sword looking over it seeing the he tilted his head seeing the flat edges and put them together and twisted together so them became a double ended spear he hesitated and walked back out there and the abominables gathered outside waiting for him as he let out a battle cry and charged into the group

Aturok stood outside the village looking at new daemaria he had the castafire key around his neck and the silver pouch with the prisim on his belt as he adjusted the fur cape around him not sure how the others would feel seeing him again as he walked into the village happy to see his own kind again

Somewhere in the middle of the village, a large black portal appears. Within moments a single cloaked figure walks out, looking to the ground. The figure had been in this area last when it was still a part of the open field and so did not notice or maybe even did not wish to pay attention, and walked right into a wall. *BLAM*

Sygus a old turtle daemarian who had survived the Vanishing Daemaria 100 years ago, notices a strange person had just walked into the wall of his house. The same house in which the Girl El was being taken care of, who was in bed, been washed up, and wounds treated. "I say... You need to be more careful." Sygus explained and approached her slowly and would have offered her his hand but then she would see passed the gentle old man he apeared to be, and reveal the turtle appearance he truly was.

Silvian, Shara, and Rune where now getting ready to head back to the village dragging with them Deer they caught or more so, Shara and Rune caught. Silvian was clearly not a very skilled hunter.

Aturok walked over to a market looking through the vendors and walked as the others went through there day tradeing and selling as he looked at the food wishing now he had some currency to buy himself as he walked his way through the village happy to see how many of thier kind still exsist

Some of the Villagers where talking about the girl El who had fainted at the entrance to there village. It could be easily heard by Aturok, how they mentioned how she fainted and was badly beaten, and how she was also injured. How the poor girl must have been through hell. The thing that Aturok would recognize that him along with Silvian, shara, rune, and even Kon would recognize, was that they over heard El say "What once came from the heavens will return to the heavens." Something that was written in the blood of the High Elder when he was murdered that day 100 years ago. Perhaps this little information would catch Aturoks ear, perhaps wondering... Is it her?

Silvian, Shara, and Rune would be returning soon... Kon however was already at the Village and was helping Old Man Sygus take care of the sick girl. Kon was startled at how this girl looked so much like Kaylay. And it was interesting that exactly 100 years ago on the same day, was the day Kay had died putting the Phoenix at Rest.

Aturok caugth attention of the conversation and stood to the side looking like he was looking through the merchandise on the market until they where finished and he walked over to the one who spoke and bowed to them "excuse me...you spoke of a girl where might i find her...my..ummm party was seperated i must see if shes ok.."

"She rests over there in that hut.. Old Man Sygus and Kon are taking care of her." A daemon said and bowed back and continued walking away. Sygus was not a elder, but he was endead wise and well known back in the days of Old Daemaria. Even Aturok knew who Sygus was, even if it has been 100 years since the day Daemaria had vanished. Silvian was relieved that Sygus was one of the lucky few to escape Daemaria before it had been wiped out.

Aturok bowed his head again in thanks and he turned and walked over to the hut where they informed him the girl was and he walked over there and walked up knocking on the door looking forward to seeing Sygus again and hopeing he will run ito the others soon

Sygus was out side on the other side of the hut helping out the strange one who ran into the wall. Meanwhile Kon opened the door and stood there jaw dropped and almost happy and yet Sad before suddenly looking angry and slammed the door in Aturoks face with out any words. He was Happy to see him after 100 years, but sad that he left with out saying anything, and never even said word for 100 years, and a bit betrayed, and Angry that after all this time he now shows up. He felt that Aturok deserved the door to his face. They were going to make him there ice guardian, and he took off with out word with the Ice Pendent, when they where planning on officializing it with the Rite of Gaurdianship. But instead, 100 years ago, they all felt betrayed by Aturok when he left with out a word. Anytime now Kon figured Silvian and the others would be returning soon.

Aturok stood there as the door opened but before he could speak the door slammed again his ears lowred some as he stepped back and stepped to the side of the hut he was certain what ever it was he deserved it but wasnt sure what to do as he stood there and waited to see if the door would open again

Silvian had given up at this point and chose to start hunting with a spear, as he was better using spears then he was a bow. he had managed to catch him self two deers with it while the others had caught perhaps 4 or 5 each. After a long day of hunting, it was finally time to return to Deamaria and present them with the food for the festival tomorrow. It had been planned for a while, that tomorrow would mark a 100th anniversary of New Deamaria. ".. Not bad Silvian... Considering it took you the over half of the hunting trip, to decide to use your spear and give up on using a bow.." Rune was saying wondering if he would strike any nerves on Silvian. He had his Golem Glade in cat form laying on the back of his neck and shoulder, purring pleasantly. Perhaps they all had grown to accustomed to being safe, as things seemed to be at peace. "..Well at least we got food for tomorrow.. to think it has been little over 100 years now... amazing.. " Shara was saying dragging behind her a nice row of deer tied together. At last they made it back to the village with there hunt and dropped it all off at a Ox Deamarian named Greg. He would prepare the meat and add herbal perspective to help keep the meet fresh for tomorrow. "About time you all came back.. We found a girl collapsed at out gate.. She is human girl.. and she kept repeating something about the heavens.."He said and Shara quickly asked "Were is this girl? "Over at Sygus'... Kon is there too.. he responded and they were all now exchanging looks. "Thank you.. We are going to go check it out now." Silvian said and started to head off to see Sygus and Kon about the girl. They all stopped seeing Aturok at the door of Sygus, and Shara took a few steps forward, all Sharing a simliar expression to Kons. Shara quickly then ran over to Aturok and Gave him a hug, and it was warm and tight, she did not want to let go, but finally she did, and then Slapped him! "Where the hell have you been all this time!!!" She growled.

Aturok smiled feeling the first hug hes had in over 100 years not wanting her to let go as she slapped him it got his attention but effected him little as he looked at her "i...am sorry..to all of you..i had matters i had to attend to...puzzles ive had to solve...i understand completly if im not wanted here i am more then willing to leave" he said adjusting the cloak with the spikes sheathed pointing up over his shoulders "im impressed on the way this place has become...however it is not my home..i had no part in its creation"

"...Silvian! Rune! Shara!.... him... I am sorry to interrupt but... well can we go in and Talk?" Kon ran outside to them and was really wanting them to enter the building. "Kon Calm down. We will go inside okay..." Shara assured while placing her hands on the exhausted badgers shoulders. "Yes well you see... She looks like Kay..." They were all now exchanging looks once again. "Aturok... lets talk about this in side... okay?" Silvian said and fallowed Kon and Shara to the hut. "....welcome back..." Rune said to Aturok and patted him on the shoulder before fallowing Silvian to the hut.

Aturoks ears perked up hearing something to do with kay and watches as the wlked in an smiled bowing his head to rune "glad to see that your health is still well old friend" he followed them inside and walked to the other side of the hut waiting when he seen the girl supriesd and shocked finding it was true it did look like her "kay?..."

"are you surprised? It really does look like her... But... She died... Aturok, your key!?" Kon said finaly speaking to him and was surprised to see the castafire key around aturoks neck glow. "although.....maybe she supposed to be the next keeper of the key... Maybe she is the same blood line or something." Kon explained. silvain stood there staring and hee realized shara and rune were doing much the Same.

"..does Sian know?" silvian asked. There was only two elders of the village. Sygus and Sian. "no she doesn't yet. But... That brings up something else sil.... I wish we had the veil.... She is the eighth human to find this place in just three weeks.... There slowly finding there way to here more often...and its been 100 years and we do not even have a full council of elders and and gaurdins..... Many of us in the village do not feel safe here anymore..." Kon explained his worries. Silvian sighed and could tell that when Kon said us he meant him self as well. "so... You want a meeting with the elders then?" silvian asked. Kon responded with a nod.

Aturok stepped back and looked down at the key as it glowed wondering if it was truely possible if this really was the same blood as Kay...and what was her reason for being here "and no one has come to claim her?"

"... No... She was alone, bur she was in a panic, and the poor girl was exhausted... Beaten... and Injured... I did not want to say anything but---" Suddenly Kon was surpised attacked, as the girl had apparently woken up, snagged Kon's Dagger and now had the Dagger at his throat.

"I..I.. Do not know what kind of demons you are! But you will never Claim life!! BACK!!!" She yelled. Even in the form of humans, just like Kay, she was able to see past the illusion, and see them as they truly where.

"Kay.. ur... What ever your name is... Please we mean you know harm.. we are not demons... we are Daemons or Daemarians..." (pronounced simliar to Demon of course but not the same)

"You.. who carry the body of a man and the head of a animal.. You are beasts in my book!" She shouted. Kon who was trained for this kind of thing, he chose to relax and make her think she was in control. At any time, he could call on the forced of Earth, or simply grab hold and flip her. But considering who she was or at least looked like, she was some one he rather not harm in anyway and just figured litting her think she was in control was the better thing to do.

Aturok stepped back back not wanting to seem like a threat to her and spoke in a calm voice "had we been demons our friends life would be meaningless and we would kill him ourselves and then kill you...but seeing as we value his life..and apperently yours enough that your still breathing...you should realize we mean you no harm.."

"This is trickery... You... you killed my family!... and you attacked me... Seeking some sort of damn key! Which I Do not know of... So ya if its the damn Key you after then you will have to Kill me or eat me!! Cause I don't have it and if I did I would not give it you!"

Silvian snarled with a desgusted face. "Eat you?!!" Shara had the same thoughts but found it some what amusing that she actually snickered a bit thinking about the idea of them eating her rather funny her self.

The girl released and pushed Kon towards them and held the dagger, whipping it around and then pointing it at them making sure they all stayed away.

Aturok took a sigh in relife now that Kon was away from her and gestured for them all to step back "we are not the beasts you think we are..they value all life...even humans. we are sorry for the loss of your family but you are actually safe here.."

Shara on other hand suddenly broke into a laugh, but quickly calmed her self to say. "Foolish little girl... if you wanted to be eaten you came to the wrong place... Here we are on a more... Eat deer, fish, and beef, as well as vegitiables and fruits kind of diet... Besides you humans dont.." She paused long enough to sniff. "dont..Smell very good... I am sure you would not taste very good ether... Kon here however is a excellent chef, He could prepare us some fine Daemarian stew if you are hungery.. By the way what is your name!" She said, and Kon ears turned slightly reddish as he blushed. "Well... I do actually have some left overs... Give me a second ill go warm some up!" He franticly ran to the kitchen area and started moving pots and pans around, and let up the wood stove. The girl slightly startled by Shara sudden out burst of laughing, actully also caught Rune and Silvian by surpise as well. The girl suddenly dropped the dagger and nearly fainted as Rune quickly Caught her. She was still awake, as she only as said Nearly Fainted. "I will go help Kon, and prepare some Tea..." Rune said gently laying her down on the bed and went to cook some hot water on the same stove that Kon was using to heat up some stew. "my name..... its Elly...." She said and closed her eyes passing out again. Shara touchered her forehead and quickly pulled her paw away. "This poor girl is sick! She has a fever!" She said now worried for her.

Aturok walked over and sat down in a chair looking at them stur around there buisness as he took the spikes from his back and leaned then against the wall and relaxed takeing a deep breath being glade to finally sit down and closed his eyes resting thinking about the word stew and now his stomach rumbled feeling hungrey "what hav i misses since ie been gone?.."

"So... Are you... planning on leaving New daemaria... Kon?" Rune asked curiously, but some what hesitantly. "..Well its just... Daemons and Human together... its hard for our two species to get along... humans fear us... and Daemons... well... we just don't like having to hide our selves all the time... I mean... I am used to that.. but.. now we only have 2 elders... no full gaurdians.... This... just does not feel like a safe home any more... I mean what is the point.." Kon explained. Rune was not sure how to answer Kon so he sighed and gave Kon a hug. "Well.... Leave or Stay, I wont blame you Kon.. just... where would you go? We kind of share this world you know..." Rune explained now preparing the tea. "Well any where that would typically keep humans away I guess... I was thinking... That Fallen city..." he responded. "...The Fallen city.. bad idea... that place is Sacred grounds.... There is a reason it was hidden... Ryu only revealed it to us cause he wanted us to know about the connection we share with the Nagali... Ancients." Kon sighed too "Well.. maybe there is something we can do.. here... If we could get the full council... and fill the open spots for the Gaurdians.... We would be able to have proper leadership.. and If we were able to go back to our old ways... keeping humans away like we are suppose too... If we jsut went back to the old Daemarian ways and----" "Grrrrrrr... ITS YOUR DAMN STUPID DAEMARIAN WAYS that CASTED ME OUT AS A CHILD!!" Rune shouted so suddenly, and this caught every one by surprise as Rune Ran out. "Uh... was it something I said!?" Kon asked dumbfounded and replaying over and over what Rune had yelled before shouting and running out.

"do the math kon...its the old ways are the reason rune was banished from daemaria...sadly what he dont know is that the old ways are gone...he was apart of a creation of a new world..one where laws cant keep him from home.." aturok stood up sheathing the spoikes again and went out and eventually found rune
