| I would consider this to be a religion rather then a consperacy, Under the regular thoughts that I have, saying that politics, and the goverment is worshiped and practiced as much as the daily douse of an evangelical Christian.
The goverment to me, which I find to be a rather interesting topic of mine. Is falty, based on the same reason why we started the revolution in the first place. The rich have power while the poor do not. Politics plays along with this a great deal for the presedent hast to think of how to do something, with voters in mind. For instance with the civil rights movements Presedent kenady I beleave, could have stopped the massachusits riots but did not take physical action because he feared to loose all the southern democratic votes. It wasnt till late in his years that he decided to take action against the riots.
Since I am lazy, which I can admit, I dont feel like adding anymore examples. Politics is a religion, a very bloody and childish one.

| I disagree. The anarchy theory would be best left to countries who haven't prospered under ANY government, and that would be very few. And until then, they would only do that for a short time before other governments take their lands or set up provisional governments. We need a government for law, structure, and defense, as well as most food health and structure building. To say politics is a religion is, confoundedly, both ignorant and true. Religion enforces some structure and law based on fear and longings of greed, while a government is an enforced rule of law, rather than guidelines. Government may or may not be enforced BY religion, but here it isn't. The law protects you and everyone else. Don't let them hear you talk like that in the navy, brother, or they will tan you like Hollywood starlets. Remember, everyone hates the police until they need them. Also, this kind of talk was similar to the hippies back in the sixties, and is what got the veterans reviled and mistreated after a long, hard fight, so think about this. Also, the revolution was because the king was imposing unfair laws to people who wanted to be independent, NOT anarchic. They didn't have ANY power, rich or poor, so we rebelled and formed our own, fair government. I don't think anybody really had a "No government" mindset.
TL;DR, The government supports us and it has shitty leaders, so the leaders need repalcing, and not total removal of government.

| Im not saying that the goverment should be taken down awesome, Im just saying that it would run smother if we didnt have politics in it. Sure our goverment is corrupt, but I rather live in this corrupt goverment, rather then the other countrys. Im happy to be an american, Im just saying that I get tired of hearing all of the bull shit in office being said over and over again.
Lol, and are you calleing me a hippy? lol, up here in colorado, there are worse hippies then me lol. . .and alot of Texans. Yes, religion does play a huge role in the leaders of the u.s despite what you might say. For example, if a canidate where to by chance say to everyone on live television that he was Athiest, how many votes are taken away from him right then and there? Its simple, all of the die hard christians will not support a non Christian presedent. Lol, when I join the navy you can count on me being silent as a what did that one movie say. "A sinner in church" lol, I dont plain on talking shit while in the Navy. . .

| I got this. I tried to say that the government, when it was originally written, was supposed to be free of religious influence. Yes you are a hippy. Government without politics is like sex without sex organs. Impossible because politics are made from the government. I'm only taking this in a literal sense, because I think I know what you mean. | |
