HELP!!! My dad hates furrys

Help, my dad doesnt agree with me being a furry, and he is telling all of my non furry friends that I am a furry and you all no how that goes. I need some advise on how to deal with my furry hateing dad. My step mom supports it, but my dad hates it. any advise?

I have a couple options..

Just ignore your father and not care what he thinks.. It is your lifestyle, if your friends do not accept who you are, then I guess they are not such good friends..

Point out the hairy chest, legs, and arms that he is actually "Furry" and do the same to him as he is doing to you.

Or.. get a new father [sorry, wouldn't recommend it.. but that is a option, you choose]

This is somewhat off topic but, this makes me thing of strait and Gay. Some people are supportive of gays and others are against it. Funny how its considered a life style, when being gay is never a choice, you are attracted to who ever your attracted to, it just is. The only thing that is choice about it is accepting that or ignore and be what your are not for the sake of making others happy. Almost and i mean almost mind you, the same concept with furry. Funny how that is when you think of it like that. I am a Proud leopard Furry, as well as a proud gay! Be happy with who you are and what you are, the choice is your own, and that choice is be who you are or be what your not, but being happy is what matters.

Be who you are, that is where happiness begins. =^-^=

thanks everyone. . . for Refearence Specs, when You suggested me telling my dad he was furry. . . I'd rather hang myself then see his rage afterwords lol. I am already ignoring his comments and I am trying my best to smile at the comments. . . I've been doing that for years.

And thanks Silvian, I have pleanty of furry Pride. . . Im Just not public about it. . . you could be amazed about how many furry haters are at my school. Luckly for me I know ten furrys over where I'm at. =3

That'd be the one thing you have going for you If you told your dad something smartalecky. Your Pride would be gone, but, you'd still have T.J. and I.
Disregard that, he'd kill us too...
