///City of Gods Part III- Era 500 AC - The Fallen /// (Now Open!)

Both Gayle and Arwen follow Aturok and Erised, and hoping that Avon following as well. Gayle stops at times to help some along the way, with a few bandaging here and there, and a few kind words to help ease them, as much as she could. Arwen stopped with her mother each time, but also keepin' the others in site.

With the help some of Dora's Soliders Zean and Daemon were confined in a room to be interrogated. It was time for the truth. Silvian had already talked to Rune, but now it was time to gather the others. Eventualy a announcement was granted to jerron and all those who wish to participate in the meeting and interrogation of Zean.

Rex leaned against the wall outside of the interegation room. He was smokeing his pipe while he awaited both the time for the interegation and for the squad of soldiers to go and retreave his family for him. He puffed the smoke lightly and tapped his staff lightly as he waited for them.

Max walked up to gayle and Erised. "So. . .after sooo long. . .Things still seem to get a bit. . .wierder" He eyed the children and then gayle, before laughing.

"Whats so funny?" Avon growled lightly at the man.

"Honesetly, you"

Max walked slowly towards Erised and placed his gloved hand on her shoulder. He could feel her pain, smell it even, and he knew it. Not the reason as to why she felt it, but knew that she did. He smiled at her and shook his head."People say the wierdest things Erised. . . .but it ussualy is never as it seems." He smiled and looked towards the sky."I once had a premonision. . .. I would die, a voice said, in the heat of the volcano. . .by my own doing" He chuckled and patted his chest."turns out that i did, but not in the way i thought. . . .keep your wits about and stand stronge"

"We waited long enough for Aturok.. If he is not showing up then we question him our selves.. Lets begin." Silvian said and approached Zean who was sitting in a chair. Dameon however was kept in another room to be waited on for questioning. Dora waited inside with them watching, next to the door. "...What is the meaning of this?" Zean growled.

"We want to know everything and we want to know everything now..." Silvian demanded.

"So is that what this is? A Interrogation!? I am a ELDER of DAEMARIA!" Zean stood up in a outrage.

"You gave up being a Elder the moment you betrayed and killed High Elder back in Daemaria... You lost your privlages for us to respect you the moment you were holding out on vital information for us... You lost your right to be for us to even trust you the moment you chose to Kidnap Rune and Kaylay and the moment you decided to treat us your enemies.. You no better then Grias for all I care..." Silvian shouted, and even spat a little as he did.

"I don't believe this.. So you are going to interrogate me, yell at me.. and what torture me? Is that what you be doing next if I don't tell you what you want to hear?" Zean said and slammed his fists against the chair knocking it over angrily.

"What is the disc shaped Glass object and that Daemaricon all about.. what is it about those two things that is so important?" Silvian asked.

Rex shook his head and placed his hand on Silvians shoulder."Old friend, yelling will not get you answers, it will only provoke anger and frustration"He shook his head silently, and stepped infront of silvian to face zean."Your mantel has been. . .taken zean. Without an elder of fire for so long they needed to replace you, now everyone is frustrated, and I swear if you two yell at each other again i will treat you like little cubs, am i clear?" He patted his cloak and sighed."I am the elder of fire and have held that mantle for sometime, I also am well aware that you are holding secreats from us, things that can save our hides, all that i am asking is that we get this information and your add if at all possible"

Max smiled warmly and patted her paw before looking at the twins."If you are looking for your father, he is down in the safe house underground" He smiled warmly. Feeling. . .strange, diffrent from before. He smiled and shook it off, it would pass."Riddles?" He smiled and shook his head at Erised."now maim, I ussualy never speak in riddles, but however you seem to be troubled by one. . .so i offer a better one to take your mind off it "

Max smiled and rubbed his chin deep in thought."Many riddles Erised, many. But as for the one that distracts you, well" He smiled and tapped his head."Why do the gods, allow humans to middle in there own private affairs? And also, why are some riddles cryptic while others are rather simple" He smiled and scratched his chin again."its easy no?"

Max nodded and chuckled lightly. Sitting down on a fallen peace of rubble and takeing out his numb for a hand, useing his magic to make anouther aperatice as he listened to her answer and nodded."Correct Erised" He smiled, flexing his new metal hand and testing it, smileing. "And I suppose. . .maybe a little would ease my abbitight"

Aturok walked down the street not paying attention his mind was to set on finding this scholar and finding the cure for the plauge he wondered how he was supposed to use the gate its not a simple thing to run he wanted to ask someone who knows more to it finally i snapped out of his little zoneing realizeing he was no longer in the shelter he looked through the streets virtually empty he dropped to his knees and closed his eyes in an attempt to meditate to slow a raceing mind he was there for sevral minutes before he felt a hand on his shoulder he opened his eyes and looked over his shoulder seeing 3 anthros looking at him as the apperant leader spoke

"your aturok right?...youve been summoned by silvian immediatly if you would please follow me and ill show you the way" he offred aturok help up pulling him to his feet and started to lead him back the way he came as the led him back to the dwelling inside and was lead down to the interriogation with it already in session as he steped inside silently letting them countine and he silently shut the door and stood watchin

Max watched her closely, watching her use her element in such a peculiar fashion."funny, earth element? yet you use it like a light element" Max watched her and knelt beside her, gathering the berries with her and smileing."I hope you dont mind if i find that peculiar. . .mind if i stick around?"

Silvian looked over to Rex. "This is a interrogation not a Chit Chat... It isn't supposed to be calm and cheery..." He said and then turned back over to Zean and growled.

"You want to know what I know about the Castafire liniage? And what I know about Grias!? Fine then, Here is the information you want to know.. Your Girlly allie also known as the Goddess is the destroyer of all... She is the very cause of the Daemarian plague.. Yes that is right, your mother being sick and all those who died because of it was because of the Goddess! So forgive me when I do not feel all happy glory about your Kaylay, or Elly, or this Claire... The goddess is here to doom our race... And the city of the gods houses the secret of curing the plague. Of course it houses other secrets as well such as untold power.. which I do not believe that you would need me to explain any further as of what Grias wants of that place.. That power hungry maniac.... GLATS!" Zean then Spat at Silvian's feet and gazed at Rex and walked across the room oposite to them and placed a hand on the wall.

"The Goddess is our destroyer? How do you know this knowledg?" Silvian asked.

"The book... The Daemaricon.. Not the copies but the original.. The very same one that Grias now holds. I know this because I tore pages from the book, Zean taught me some basic old Daemarian.. When I learned of our fate I tried to merg the crystals my self as a child... Don't you remember.. Daemaria froze in time, and I was like a statue holding those pages in the temple. You don't need Zean to explain that to you.." Dora explained with a sigh.

Rex glared at Silvian and sighed, stepping back and thinking for a quick second as to the information he was being given. Rex stood there for a second and mulled it over, smileing and chuckling."Well. . .that is. . .quite a mindfull but why keep it a secreat? That still makes no since to me" Rex scratched his chin thoughtfully and looked at zean."Childish fool, thinking that you could do this alone? For how many years you have been the elder and this. . .mistake, come now zean, what did you hope to accomplish by keeping something. . .this strong to yourself when others would be more than happy to try and help you on this" Rex leaned against the wall and took out his pipe, smokeing it, the sweet aroma, casting its smell across the room.

Max thought for a second on the question. What did he do? Well he did alot but none of it seemed. . .as innocent as what she did with her element."Alot of things really. . .but non worth mentioning at the moment of course" He sat down and plucked a berry from the bush, eating it and smileing at the sweet flavor."maybe this can abate curiousity. I can. . .sort of teleport with my power. . .shadow jumping if you will"

" I will tell you the truth then... What was the daemarian belief? We were born from the the seeds of creations... the ten crystals that supply our culture with power... Our job is to protect those crystals at all cost that includes from the out side world... thus it was forbiden for any one to leave daemaria... accept its all a lie... how do you tell the people that it was all a lie? It been daemarian belief for well several thousand years!. The real truth... as revealed in the daemaricon on its secret pages. A truth I knew long before the daemaricon which was revealed to me by.... The elementals them selves... Remember the phoenix and the griffin, or better yet the tails told by the Ancients about the four gods? Those are too our gods... our real gods.... Something had driven the griffin god mad and he forged what is called the crystal dagger... he plunged it into the belly of dragon god for the dragon was to give brith to a fifth god.... one that was prophecized to bring a end to all of creation. Perhaps that is why the griffin had went mad... who knows... The attempt was a failure the unborn child survived, the griffin was banished into the realm of eternal darkness for all eternity, his power stripped away and placed within the crystal dagger... But this was only one event to come... not long after it all lead to the downfall of the gods, the gods were to be no more and the people that lived in there city, known as the celestrials who lived in what you have heard as.. the City of gods... The dragon had givin birth to the fifth god and to protect this child they chose to send it down to earth along with several other celestrial beings. They split the crystal dagger into five and created five keys and gave each key to five most trusted celestial being.. the power inside was split like colors in a prisim becoming what we call the Elements. The keys allowed this five to harness its power but only one Elemental force for each chosen by the Key they wore around there necks. They were the family of five and there job was to protect the goddess and the celestial beings on earth. The gods then sacrificed them selves by putting them selves in seals on earth going into the eternal slumber, this sleep would keep the City of the gods sealed away for all eternity, for the knowledge in the city and corruption within it was to get on earth or fall into the wrong hands, all would be lost. There knowledg was a dangerous thing...."

Zean stopped for a moment. Silvian only glared. "I do not understand what this has to do with or culture... or what this has to do with My father or the goddess.... or Grias..." Silvian growled but then sat down, as did Zean.

"Dont you understand Silvian... Our race.. Daemarians. We are those celestials... We all came from the heavens... the city of gods... We are the celestrials! The five who were chosen to protect the other celestrials and the Child of the gods, they were the only ones who had elemental power, the other celestrial beings did not. Eventually the child grew up to become a goddess... we know her as Kaylay, and Elly, and Claire... She fill in love with one of her gaurdians, the one who held the key that represented Fire. This the castafire key... She then became pregnet with his child... Soon after the other four gaurdians thought of her and him as a abomination. They turned against them and decided that it was time to share the Crystals power to all Daemarians. They split the five crystals and became ten. Thus the ten elements were now born, and the power was released to ALL daemarian kind. The betrayal to the goddess and the sacralidge of splitting the crystals was our greatest Sin. The goddess created the Daemaraian plague as our punishment. "

"This is all blasphemy!!! I will not let you talk down about our ancestors!" Silvian growled.

"Just listen!!! Silvian... you do not have to believe me... Just listen... Those great beings you seen when the seals were released are in fact the imprisoned gods! THe daemarian kidn tortured them by creating temples above there seals, drawing power from the gods in order to split the crystals become the seeds of creation. It became daemarian belief that the seeds were daemarian duty to protect from the out side world, the councel was formed and our new laws were formed. The goddess escaped but her lover who was the castafire guardian was executed. All she had left of him was the Child the goddess, and the key. She later gave birth to the first Demihuman ever.. The new goddess... she became the start of the Castafire blood line... "

Silvian flung the chair and stood up and walked away from Zean. He did not want to toss aside his own beliefs so easily just because of a story Zean had told.

"Silvian believe me this is the bitter truth.. This is that big secret i with held because i knew how daemarian kind are... We prefer to be blinded by the beliefs made by the council... To forget our true history.. to forget our greatest Sin!!!


....What Once came from the heavens shall Return to the heavens.... The family of five shall fall... We will then know the greatest truth... and the reveal of the greatest Daemairan sin.... The goddess shall rise and with her the destruction of all...." Zean spoke of the prophecy as written in the Daemaricon.

Rex listened carefully, smokeing his pipe in earnest as he listened to the two, being offily silent as he took in the information. He growled silently here and there towards Silvians out bursts but still remained silent. the only sound he made was to put more tobaco into his pipe. Finnaly when all was said and done, Rex stood straight and streached his back. Looking at Zean with a short smile."Well it is a burden to carry, surprised to say, one you have carried for so long zean" Rex sighed and offered his pipe."But however secreats should not be held. . .even as dumbfounded as this. . .and as fo you silvian" He turned and faced silvian with a expression of disgust."need I remind you of anger, so what if you think he is wroung, opinions are opinions however far fetched to the listener they are."

Max chuckled and rubbed the back of his head embarrasingly. "Well. . .kinda. . .I can jump anywhere that theres a shadow so. . .figurativly yes. . .however whenever I do. . . its weird, times stops in this reality and that one moves on and there. . .there are doors with pictures on them somtimes"

Aturok leaned against the wall listening to the whole deal finding it somewhat intresting but not needed for his ultimate goal he tapped his foot and noticed a hooded figure walk in then turned his attention and Silvian storm away from zean and he pushed himself off the walk walking towards silvian "we need to find someone called the scholar of time....and we need to find them now..do you know of them?"
