Aturok nodded "why thank you.." he smiled and walked into the sewers as the stench filled his nostrils and folowed then down the long tunnel being quiet

Rune fallowed behind, trying to breath as sparingly as possible. Ryu chose to stay behind, as he knew he was only going to be in the way. A old man after all. Shara managed to create a aura of light to help illuminate the path. Suddenly the sewers forked in four different directions. "Which way?!" Rune asked, looking down each way but mentally noting that they all looked the same. "Well we could all split up. There is four of us..." Silvian explained. "Would that be very wise?" Shara asked knowing that the unknown could be down any one of these tunnels. There was a suddenly growl coming from one of the farthest tunnels. "Well I vote what ever tunnel that doesn't lead to that..." Rune suggested.

Aturok squinted his eyes trying to get his eyes to adjust to the dark "i have to agree that dosent sound friendly..we shoudld keep moveing to incase it comes looking

There was yet another loud grumble that came in yet from another path. "This does not sound too good... " Rune warned and looked around alertly. "Well we will not get anywere if we stay here wondering which was is the safe way. Were going into a castle full of these sayons.. there nothing safe about which ever way we go.. so lets just go.." Sivlian explained and chose a path and headed that way. "Sil.. eh.. okay fallow the leader I guess.." Shara sighed and fallowed along.

Aturok followed them and looked around at them "does anyone actually know where we are going and how to get there cause i think we better not race in there if these sayons you call them are this bad."

"Silvian.. I agree we should not just barge... Oh.. Well.... Hello.." Rune stopped to were Silvian had stopped, which was a stone door. Silvian slowly opened the door which lead to a flight of stone steps. There was a oder in the air, that was possibly more putrid then the sewage. It was the smell of blood and rotting flesh. There as also the sounds of cries above. Human cries.

Aturok felt sick as he leaned against the wal and looked over at them "where are we..that smell its horrid" he countinued his way up the stone steps hearing the screams he didnt like that sound and for a moment he almost wanted to turn back scared to see what he found asthe startd to reach the top of the steps

Max had gone silent for the remander of the trip, he had explained how he knew the passage ways into and out of the castle but he was ignored, it wasnt till he herd the blood curtiling screams of humans that he had begone to talk. " much has chaned" Max said silently reminding himself that he didnt belong in that time.

Max desided to take lead evn though he was the last one in line. He jumped on the railing and ran up it, determind to find out what had caused his kin so much anguish. The louder the crys the faster Max had ran.

"Glats.. some one get that kid..." Silvian cursed as he watched Max run up the stone steps. It lead to a large slaughter house of a chamber. This was a torture chamber. There was small cells all around this room, which was also full of devices specific for torturing. There was a woman in one cell who was crying. She had a blanket over her, she had wrapped around her and part of it over her head like a hood. Further along in other chambers, there was possibly dead bodies, to people who looked half mutilated , but still alive suffering through it. As for the devices, there was chairs and tables, some looked like they stretch a person to pieces, while another one, looked like they would literally twist the limps right off a person. Just looking at them made rune coward a little. "It is things like this that makes humans seem like monsters..." Rune sighed. There appeared to be no guards, but in the center of this torture chamber, was a large round table with some sort of pentagram carved into it, not quite a star, but enough to know that it had some sort of meaning. On this table was a man, with some sort of large green and yellow colored fan sticking into him. rune instantly recognize it as a Vigerage Fang. It appeared they were torturing him with it. Looking even more closely, he had several sticking in side him, and it also appeared he had some sort of parasitic insects eating him up. Rune could not tell if the man was alive or dead, but ether way he was better off dead. Then something else he took notice to about this man. He realized that he was not a human at all but was in fact part of there own blood. The mutilated man was actually a demi-human. "They did this to a mutt?" Silvian growled. "Sil... don't call him that... Mutt or not.. this is cruel...." Shara said with ears folded back. "What kind of man would do this?!" Slvian asked. "King Tanar... this is his wickedness... " Rune explained and sighed with sorrow.

Aturok shook his head "my worst nitemears had been more pleasant then this..quick we need to hurry" Aturok walked through the torture chambers looking for survivors and only finding a few most of them seemed seconds from death "we need to get them out of here..weather they surive or not this place should not be the last one sees.."

"Oh I would hope not.. Daemons I presume..." A man was now standing in the doorway of the chamber. Silvian, Rune, and Shara all pulled out there weapons ready to fight. "Oh please... As if I would be afraid of you lot... So did you come to try to let the people go free? Become saviors to the human population? despite what ever... The King would like a word with you lot.." He said with not a inch of fear on him. He was different from the soldiers Silvian and Aturok fought. Much smarter and knew more about there species then the others did.

Aturok stood up the man he had tened died while he was distracted by the man and he looked over at the man and then at the others and smiled seeing the man not afraid wich had no effect on Aturok at all and walked over to the others and looked at Rune "oh look he wants to introudce us to the family its a honor"

Max scowled at the man…much has changed here indeed. “And I’m supposed to be honored? Fat chance!” Max said gripping his staff in anger but biting back his will to attack the man, it was plainly obvious that Max was holding back his anger, and max knew that nobles didn’t retaliate against petty comments like his…but max knew better.




Rexus woke up in his cell, gripping his head. He had a headache and wasn’t exactly shore what the hell happened. His weapons were taken from him, and the only thing that was his was his green cloth paints…other than that he was shirtless. He had fox ears and a fox tail, so it was clearly evedent that he was a demi-human, or a mutt. Rexus was a skinny man but he was built, which was the reason he could wield a blade with power, but it didn’t make since that he could or even would use a bow and arrow.

Rexus silently got up and took one of his lock picks from his paints. It was hidden for special accessions like these. Rexus walked up to his cell door and instantly got the lock open. Rexus’s ears perked up, someone was outside, one of the voices he recognized…Rune. “Chameleon…” Rexus casted silently as his body was soon cloaked in a almost invisible shroud. Rexus then made his way outside of his cell and quietly closed it…Rexus was still at a loss as to why he was there, he remembered being at a bar, then nothing. He made his time by watching what was happening between Rune’s group and the strange man.

While they took Max away some were the rest of them were brought to the king. He only had interest in Daemarians not humans or half bloods. They were lead to a large chamber with a throne in the center were a man dressed in complete black, who even had a black beard and hair to match. "Ah it is nice to see some Daemarians again. What a pleasure." Tanar spoke stepping forward. "Please have there weapons confiscated." He said as sever soldiers entered the room, and four of them approached them to take there weapons. Silvian growled as he whipped out his sword and swung it around. "Over my dead body!" Silvian yelled, and rune and Shara also too began to fight the soldiers. Sivlain managed to kill the first solider but a few ended up coming to take there place. Tanar and the man who lead them to the king only watched with amusement. "Yes fight.. This is very much amusing.."

Aturok fought along with them with his bare hands his blows wher not leathal like the others as he observed the soldiers carful to be ready for thier next moves he lunged at one of the guards and bit down hard on his neck and ripped his throat out when he had a clear shot on the king a ice spear formed in his hands and he threw it as fast as he could at the king

Rexus looked towards the exit and then towerds the group who where being led towards king Tannar. It was a quik decision, but something told Rexus that he had to follow the others, beside Rune was there.

Rexus had desided to follow them, keeping to the shadows incase his Chamilion desided to where off, which it did not thankfully. He crept into the chamber, where immidiatly Silvian, rune , autorock , or anyone who hadnt been mentiond ((My fualt for not paying attention)) where being consficated.


'Release me Rex...let me have some fun.." Vendumane said withen Rexus's mind. " from the sky's of red to the fires bellow..." Rexus started to chant slowly... " I call the mistress of the fire's I call the Phionex Vendumane!" A tattoe started to apear in bright red onto Rexus's back. It was one of a phionex, but as it gained color it started to sink into the ground and shift brightly onto the walls. It was a bright and colorfull red and orange, and everyone that has ever seen a golem before would have know that what had appeared onto the walls was that of a golem. A high pitch screech echoed across the chamber as Vendumane took form outside of the wall.

"From below the world stirs a fire..." Rexus started chanting while Vendumane landed onto the ground near Rune, makeing a little more room for the others. " and cuases a chasm of fire worth unleashing... Bring me my swords from Hell!" Rexus was now visible from acroos the room, a bright red longsword was now in his hand...

The moment the ice spear reached Tanar it obliterated before it actually touched him. "Very amusing... Bring the elite..." Suddenly more soldiers came in, but they were a bit a different from the normal soldiers that were easily slain. These ones were the Sayons them selves, as the others were only normal humans. Surprisingly there elemental nature seemed to not do anything on them. Every time when there power was used they were able to deflect it with some energy. Sivians sword was suddenly thrown out form his hands, just as Shara's sword had met the same fate. Runes Bow was snapped in half and they were all forced to go down to there knees. "What the hell are you monsters?" Sivlain growled. "They are Sayons. They hold power over demonic forces.. A force that the power of spirits would not easily penetrate. Your elementals power for a example.." Tanar explained rather pleased, possibly with him self. "Ah yes company..." Tanar turned, and as if holding chameleon abilities as well, Vigerage appeared out of the wood work and bit down on Vendumane. "Here is why I wanted you here.. your abilities are still very unique even to us Sayons.. Your powers to be nearly like gods, you could help control the humans of this world." Tanar explained. Rune snarled, and Silvian who had tanars face near his as he spoke, Silvian spat in his face. Tanar took the blunt end of his sword and smacked Sivlian in the face with it.

(note because Golems are a extension to our selves, We would feel the pain felt by our golems as well.)

Aturok sighed seeing attack had failed and watched the sayons enter the room and quicly subdued the others he knew if they had trouble with them he wouldent stand a chance so he dropped down to his knees and looked at Tanar "do you want to control them?....or mercyless slaughter them...you dont deserve the lable of king your a tyrant..." Aturok looked around thinking of the options they had to escape

"Call it what you will... But please note that the future I will bring there will be no room for your kind, unless you aid me. You do not want to end up like that half blooded creature down below..." Tanar explained as all of there weapons were now taken away from them all. And they were all shackled. Suddenly the doors slammed open from behind which immediately caught Tanar's attention. "Sir... She tried to escape..." Said the man who was responsible of the door slamming. He through the woman down to the ground who cried, as she was shackled and thrown. It was the same one that Aturok and Silvian had saved. "Ah yes... the princess Castafire... Trying to escape will only get you killed... Unless you have finally decided to use your key..." Tanar said approaching her. Silvian tried to get free, but he only ended up getting his face shoved against the floor by the Soldier. Blood that trickled down his nose was smeared all over the floor. Blood that was from when Tanar had hit him. Silvian just snarled. "I will never... you monster... Oh!" The Castafire woman said and suddenly let out yelp in surprise, when she recognize Silvian and Aturok. "...Oh... Oh.. I see... You met these creatures before... how very interesting..." He said smirking as if plotting something.

Aturok let off a low grow watching him thinking how bad he wanted to tare the kings guts out and dangle him infront of his sayons he looked down thinking to himself he never fought in a actual battle before nor had anyone to consider a enemy truely he would deal with new experiences in this world he looked over hearing the door open and seen the guard bring someone in soon he caught a semi new sent seeing the girl he was happy to see her alive as his tail wagged breifly in happines to see she was still alive and they didnt go on the quest for nothing

"Bring the girl to the chamber... Take them as well they can watch.." Tanar turned and his throne seemed to move on its own, revealing a set of steps that lead down to a hidden chamber below. Shortly after they were all dragged down to the chamber. In the center of the chamber, Shara, Silvian, (and Aturok should recognize it) A Glowing Red Crystal with Ancient Daemarian writing engraved into it. "A seed of Creation!!!" Silvian shouted. Flashbacks of Daemaria vanishing entered his mind. If the crystal was here, did Daemaria still exist? "I'm pleased to know that you recognize it... It apeared a few days ago... When your land vanished... This is a temple that was created long before your kind... This is one of five force point temples of the Ancients. You know of one of these temples your self..." Tanar explained.

Aturok recognised it as well "well thats diffrent.." he strugled at his shackles some and looked over at the king wondering what his plan was with it

"Kaylay Castafire... Princess Castafire.. She who bares the key of the castafire family.. Shall release the power of the Elemental Goddess..." Tanar explained, as if some what recited. "Look I don't understand what you want me to do, but even if I did know... I would not do it for you!" Kaylay explained. "But would you if I killed your furry friends?" Tanar asked as i whipped out his sword and held the blade up to Aturok's Throat.

Aturok gulped with the blade to his throat he wasnt ready to die but he knew he would gladly give his life for a worthy cause he looked up at the king then over at her "do not do it id sooner die then let this amomination to get its way...im not from your world i will not be missed..but doing this will bring doom" he looked back up at the king "i do not fear death..you would be best to remember that when we have our little encounters.."

Vendumane let out an ear piercing screech as the vigerage bit down on Vendumane. Rexus to let out a howl of pain as he was driven to his knees…Rexus had forgotten about the fatal flaw of all elemental masters, there connection to there golem.

Rexus was now venerable, and he was now at the will of king tanar. He didn’t try to escape this time, not until the vigerage had let go of Vendumane that is. Rexus cringed as more pain leapt through his body; apparently the vigurage had taken great ‘care’ in keeping vendumane conferrable. “Why don’t you put you’re money where you’re mouth is Tannar and kill me instead!” Rexus shouted challenging. “After all, we are just pawns in you’re silly game, or is there something else…something that only a Daemon could do? Or does it go farther then that, oh do tell us you’re evil scam Tannir.” Rexus shut his eyes tight as more pain jolted through his body. “Bloody murder…hehe”

Rexus reached out with his mind, trying to come into contact with King Tannars Mind, trying to read his mind and at least get a clue as to what was going on, heck maybe even Take control of the tyrant and make him jump out the window, but that Idea seemed practically impossible.


Max was led down an entirely different hallway, escorted by only three guards. “Can I go to the bathroom?” Max asked, obviously agitated. “No!” The guard’s responded. “ then how am I going to clean up the blood in the first place?!?” before the guards could even relies what he was talking about, Max had summoned his sword and sliced at all of the guards, turning them into a huge bloody carcass not even recognizable. “Think I’m useless? I’ll show him what a human can do!” Max shouted before Jumping into the shadows of the wall and appearing somewhere near Silvians position. There where sayons everywhere…the personal honor guard for the castle way back. Fortunately for Max, His Shadow element had allowed him to meld within the shadows and get a good glimpse of what was happening to Silvian.



Max quickly turned back from that corner, his heart leaping out of his chest in pure fear, that man, King Tanar resonated with huge Negative energy, I mean huge. That particular energy made the sayons in that room look like paper dolls. His friend had no chance against the king. No know wasn’t the time to act, know was the time to think, look before you leap so to speak. Max kept to the shadows, he concealed his energy so that the king would notice his presence while he threatened aturok. The King would be distracted.


To Maxes advantage the room wasn’t well lit, so he was able to keep to the shadows. The shadows seemed to protect him there, which was odd. They clung to his clothes and they melded with him, well more like he melded with them. But anyone who would have looked his direction, look right into Max’s very own eyes would not have even noticed he was there. Max even noticed this and it brought confert to him. Maybe the gods where watching him, or maybe some other force was letting him do this, Max didn’t take time to think about that…he had to free his comrades, show them that even though he was Human, he was perhaps worth the keep.


‘Come on great king tell me you’re secret.’ Max thought silently as he silently watched them talk.
