Aturok tosses and turned trying to get to sleep but every time he closed his eyes Mayla appeared in his mind he sighed and sat up and looked around seeing the others with thier tents starting to wish he had one he looked over to the temple and walked over seeing Rune there hes sat across the fire from him seeing rune there with the book "doing some studying?"

Max hung from a tree, he was busy making a hammock out of the leaves and reads of the forest, a feat that he had learned in the circus. He completed his work and was about to get in when he noticed something…only a couple of feet ahead of him was Rune and Todd, sitting at the campfire. Max flipped upside down and landed on the ground. He looked up making shore his staff was still up there he began to walk towards the campfire. Max’s was wearing a black short sleeved shirt, black long paints and sandals. He was already ready for bed.

Max sat at the campfire yawning. “Wow…you guys still awake?” Max said with slight yawn, he had a long day. Max looked over at the book, The writing on it was foreign to him, which right about now he wasn’t shore the writings of Elrond even existed. “Strange book…is it the writings of your people?” Max said leaning forward on the log.

"This is a copy of the Daemericon correct? These pages are much different from the rest of the book. There in old Daemarian. Are you able to read Old Daemarian?" Rune asked handing the book off to Aturok.

he accepted the book and looked through the pages through the text on the pages "one or to words..but thats only cause Mayla showed me..she worked in the temple and somewhere along the line someone taught her.." he looked though the pages some more then stopped and looked at rune "its the elders book..pity thier isnt one around"

"Well I think its time we hit the hay. Its going to be a long day tomorrow.." Rune suggested and headed off to bed. What they didn't know was at this very second, that human town were the human girl they saved, was being attacked by Tanar's men.

Aturok sighed and watched him leave back to his tent then turned his attention back to the fire he felt exsausted like he was going to pass out but when he tired to sleep he couldent he aid by the fire with one arm on the book and watched the fire and put more wood on as it began to die down

Morning came, and thats when Silvan came with a rude awakening. "Aturok Wake up!! Remember that girl we saved!? The town she is at, its been attacked and burnt down!!" He explained. From what he could tell there was no sign of survivors, but he was pretty certain that the body count was a little low, for there not be. He could bet that this Tanar had something to do with it, and the people were possibly imprisoned.

Aturok was just laying there with his eyes closed when he heard silvian he about jumped out of his fur when he shot up and looked over to where Silvian and managed a yawn and staggered to his feet "what are we going to do about it?" he looked over at rune and then back to Silvian "could you tell what way they went?"

Max went back to his hammock... he couldnt sleep even a wink for something nagged at the back of his brain. Max got up at sunup, he had already packed up his hammock and dissolved his staff when something caught his eye. Now humans dont have good eye sight so it was amazing for Max to even spot this, but he had the advantage of hight and that was enough for max to see the villidge.

He squinted his eyes for only a second then his face went cold white. Max jumped down from his branch cursing in elven...again anouther language he had learned. He walked over to Aturok who was already being woken up by Rune. " how could we have let this happen... if that caravan was attacked on a major rode might i add...then chances are that the place would have been attacked next...I'm so stupid." Max berated himself, his eyes seemed to glow a suddle darkness as he looked towerd the sky.


"I cannot let these go un punished...that villdige paid amege to that man...how..how could he have killed innocents." Max looked at Aturok...an Idea sprung into his head. " I might have an Idea..." Max said, his staff reapearing in his hand. " before I met you guys...I had studied a few magics to help me hide...the bennefet of that is that those magics also can help me track...the spell highlights the tracks in the aura of the caster...makeing tracking farely easy and not too dificult... I have already prepared the spell..."

Aturok sighed when he brought up the caravan and turned and walked over to Max and placed his hand on Max's shoulder "do not trouble yourself on the carvan..we found out who attacked it..it wasnt the kings men....however according to silvian it was who attacked the village did follow the king....do not beat yourself up we all needed sleep..if we wher meant to stop us we would have the gift of seeing the future"

Max smiled one of his rare smiles. “Yeah…I’m not an oracle…but it just doesn’t…” Max looked off to the town, it was one of his favorites two hundred years ago. “It just doesn’t seem right to let this go UN…unpunished” Max clenched his hands around his obsidian staff. “ Hey…ummm I need to talk to you… “ Max said out of nowhere. “ ummm…I don’t know how to say this but… don’t take me for a crazy but… whenever my powers where at their peak…a voice whipserd in my head…you have any thoughts about that…? She said her name was Shia”

Silvian took off to the woods to the town. Despite the fact he was Deamarian and trained to prevent people from finding Deamaria, but with it ever so gone, he was still clinging to the idea to protect something. This was there world now whether he liked it or not. Even more, he felt useless standing around and allowing this king do as he pleases. He wanted to save the people. He wanted to save that girl."No time for the shit chat right now.. Aturok what do you think? Should we Help Silvian?" Rune asked.

Max scuffed at this remark. “Should we help him…? Do you understand that what he is doing is pretty stupid…” Max’s face lit with delight. “He’s going to need the help, and I’m just the idiot to help…and if you sorry sops don’t want to help…I wish you all the best of luck.” Max hefted his back pack onto his shoulders and practically jumped into a shadow, Max disappearing right before their eyes. Max jumped out of another shadow not even thirty meters away. Max was leaning against a tree; he was waiting for Rune and Aturok to make up their minds.

Aturok looked over at Rune and nodded "we shall...maybe this could lead to the answers on what happened to our home....however do we have to travel with the human?...hes got quite a mouth on him one that he might wind up loseing before to long" Since he had no real burden to carry he grabbed the book that belonged to the elder and stood there looking at Rune he could sence max still watching "time to explore my new home...i guess"

"I know what you mean." Rune smirked and then walked off towards the woods to go after Silvian. Before too long, they were now at a town burned to the ground and nearly nothing left but there was horse track trail leading all the way to Tanars castle which at the foot of this castle was a surrounding town, that was the Slums. Thieves, poor folks who were starving and trying to fend for them selves and there family, then there was the people known as the Sayons who enslaved, tortured and did what ever they pleased as the worked for the king.

Max walked behind max and rune, quitter than normal, he kept looking at the ground scanning it as if he were searching for something but what? Max looked nerves, perhaps even scarred. It got to the point that he actually had his mages hood over his head so no one could see his face. Max had his staff out, the butt of the staff prodding the ground unearthing miscellanies objects.

Max finally stopped whenever a black tome had been unearthed by his staff. Max had gotten curios and had picked it up. He held the book in both hands and blew the dust off of it. The dust flew off as golden letters appeared onto the cover. Book of the shadow, it read. Max looked forward, making shore that no one was watching him; he then tucked it into his back pack and continued moving.

Max walked back up to the group, keeping his distance as usual; it was very unusual being the only human there. He looked over to the castle. “King Tanar…normally this place used to be such a heaven, how long have I been gone?” Max said out load, obviously talking to himself. “ this is so outlandish.

Aturok looked across the castle and then over at Rune "this was that king that the wold told us about the one you said was big and bad..." he looked at the the village surrounding it seeing it in such poor condition just looking at the poorly buuilt homes made him miss home "they sure dont make them like they did in deamaria.." he crouched down and placed his hands on the horse tracks then walked up to Silvian "excuse me sir but what is the plan? are we seriously considering attacking that castle?"

Max looked off at the castle, he clenched his hand around it in a violent manner. ‘You have been gone a long time’ the voice said again. ‘Yeah…’ max responded. ‘To long’ Max walked over to silvian, starting to think back to when he was last in the castle and how he had escaped.


“They used to have templers…Magic eliminators.” Max said to Silvian. “I once saw a mage try doing a magic trick and he unsuccifully caught himself on fire. I don’t know if it works on you’re abilities but it’s something to think about…best to be prepared.” Max leaned on his staff and started carving a rough setch of the castle. “ I have been here…several times in my youth…much has changed since then, so the passages of escape I usually made might be broken down.” Max said sketching a few x’s in the dirt to symbolies his escape points.

“Again…much has changed since I have last been here” Max hoped he was being helpful, and he honestly hoped he was not being a nuisance

"You no kid... you talk to much.. we don't do magic tricks..." Silvian responded to Max as they made there way towards the castle. "We need to figure out a way inside... There to many soldiers for us to take care of.. Even with or without our power and golems..." He explained. "Silvian is right... you see these soldiers are Sayons... They control demonic monstrosities called Vigerage... But the question what do we do about it.. Any idea?" Rune asked looking around curiously.

Aturok walked along with them "perhapes some of us should distract the beasts while the rest sneak into the city and look for this girl...you all know more about the city so id volenteer to be the distraction"

"No to risky.. do you understand what Vigerage can do if they were to bite you?" Rune explained and then sighed. "Well we may not have any other choice..." Silvian replied and analized the situation. "Or you can listen to old man Ryu and his idea on how to get inside." Shara spoke behind them. She had caught up to them, and traveling with her was Ryu. "The Sewers... travel the sewers and we will be able to get into the castle... possibly to the dungeon." ryu explained, and noted that there is a place out side the city were the sewers expel its waste.

Aturok stood thier listening to them and looked to Shara "master guardian...i am not a warrior perhapes it best i stay behind i am not a warrior like the rest of you..you want me to help plow thier feilds and im your fur.." he said looking her her seriously

"Non sense.. I have seen you fight when Dameon had turned against us.. And even so.. we can still use you... You as much apart of us, as a guardian would be.." Shara explained. "I am not a guardian ether Aturok.. But I am still here to help.." Rune added. "The entrance to the sewers is this way.." tyu explained and headed off to the direction of the sewer entrance.

Aturok bowed and watched them then headed off after them on the way to the sewers as he walked along side rune "so you grew up in this world..correct?..whats it like how did you survive?" he said curiously

"...Yes.. I grew up here... In this one... I survived... well..." Rune was silent for a while, not finishing up the sentence. There was a hint of discomfort in the way Rune was acting towards the question. Memories he did not care to remember. "We are here.." Ryu explained as they made it to a large stone tunnel, that reeked of waste. "I think this place will kill my sense of smell." Ruse sighed. "Well here we go... Thank you Ryu." Silvian thanked and bowed as he was the first to enter the tunnel. Shara fallowed behind and Rune looked at Aturok. "Shall we?"
