Aturok hoped off the golem landing on the ground still with a thick layer of ice still around him he walked over and seen kaylay as the ice shattred off him and he approached her as he did so he looked her over makeing sure she was all there and held his hand out to her "its time to go.."

She looked as though she wanted to say something, but looked to terrified for words. "...I am afraid she is coming with us... she is after all the key barrier..." Said a familiar voice. Silvian hopped off wide awake, grabbed his sword and instantly clashed blades with none other but ZEAN! Silvian was lunged backwards, so he now stood in a battle pose. There along with Zean was the Bear Daemon and the tiger fire guardian that betrayed them Damien. "Damion! I don't understand why are you doing this!?" Shara shouted, and at same time her Golem Roared. Dameon only grunted and looked away. Part of him could not make eye contact with her. "We will be taking Rune as well..." Zean said smirking. "Why!? You keep evading our questions!" Silvian shouted angered. "After careful studying the book, I now understand what I have to do, and to do that I need Rune and the human girl... No matter what you do, they are coming with us..." Zean explained, just as Dameon was grabbing hold of Kaylay, who fought to break free but could not, with Dameons muscular body. "We need to get out of here, there comming! Tanars men!" Shara yelled hearing running foot steps in the passageway. "Ralu... Block the passageway... Tanar will reach his end soon enough.." The bear nodded with agreement and went to block the passage way, where he cast a shadowy wall.
"I will not let you take Shara or Rune!" Silvian refused allow them to do as they please. Dameon forced Kaylay on top of a large Firey serpent Golem who now made sure Kaylay could not escape. Dameon now went for Rune. Silvian quickly enganged combat with Dameon, who quickly wipped out sword, who stegnth surpiingly shot Silvian back into a wall. "Dameon is more powerful then you knew him before... Nothing you all do will work agaisnt us, stop fighting us, and this can become painless. [i]"Kaylay!!!" Silvian shouted trying to get up as Ralu quickly grabed hold of him and restrained Silvian, while still keeping a shadowy wall blocking the Passageway. "RUNE!!" Silvian shouted as Dameon grabed hold of Rune and carried him to the Serpant Golem. Shara's Golem tried to stop him, but something abotu forces within Dameon prevented Shara's golem from harming him.

Aturok ran for the fire golem in attempt to try to free them and the layer of ice over him and a spear in his hand and he trew it at the firey serpents eyes ans frzen daggers formed in his hands and run swinging to cause damage to the golem and tryed to with stand the flames

The serpents eye blazed with inner fire that some how shielded its eye from Aturoks attack. Zean smiled and turned to Ralu. "We will be going now, Ralu..." Zean smirked and Ralu smiled devilishly and tossed Silvian as if he was nothing but a pebble. "Zean Damn it! Just what the Glats are you trying to do?" Silvian asked. "..You shall see soon enough... a word of advice to you... Tanar... he is not human.... what ever was human has died now.. he is but a shell possessed by a higher power... You see... He is the Griffin..." Silvian dropped down to his knees just as Zean had climbed onto the Serpan along with Dameon and Ralu. "Please... Let them go... I bag you... Please..." "My my boy... resorting to bagging already... You want them bad enough you will find me... Tanar has something I need as well in his castle... I imagine we will both find our selves there... Till next we meet.." The Golem then took off into the now night sky. There Tanars men were now surrounding them as the Shadowy wall was gone with Ralu absent.

Aturok chased after them ntil he couldent keep up as he stoped and atched them dissapear and sighs and looked back at the others and seen tanars troops surrounding them as he drped the ice daggers he missed home this fighting seemed to be pointless they are always outmatched

"Damn it Aturok! Don't give in!" Silvian grabbed his sword and began cutting Sayons. Shara quickly fired arrows of light at the ceiling and it started to cause it to collapse. This may sound crazy but Jump! Where jumping off the mountain! Now! Jump!!" Shara yelled and leaped off, Fallowed by Kon, and then Silvian, who where the caught by Sharas Golem who was now flying with giant angel like wings.

Aturok snapped back to attention and spun back around sending spikes of ice flying at some soldiers hitting them in the neck as he turned and ran to the edge of the moutain and leaped off not sure what he was gonna do once he reacheds the bottom as he fell towards the ground he looked around to see the others then back at the jagged rocks below as he curled up and ice formed around him again this time the ice took form of a perfect frozen sheild around him and waited as he hit the first rock and was bounced back and forth rollling down the moutain hitting all the rocks

Quickly landing, Shara reached out a hand. "Are you alright Aturok!? Quick Climb on board!" She shouted.

Ahe took her hand and climbed on as the golem quickly lifted off and bavck up to the sky as he sat down on the back and dusted himself off

Finaly after flying a ways to safty, The winged lion landed, and allowed them to get off. "Is every one okay?!" Shara asked. "We need to Get Rune and Kaylay Back!!! That Salkie!!!" Silvian cursed again in his native tongue. Salkie by definition meant: "Self Centered Rat" but was a word that was indeed a curse word to Daemons.

Aturok climbed off walking away from Silvian "we will be we are obviously not ready i dont know if anyone is keeping track but we havent won a single fight so far and if we keep rushing into this there will be none of us left..." he sighed looking down "we need to find a way to get the upperhand otherwise its all for nothing"

Rexus had thrown himself out of the mouth of the cave, Vendumane who had been perched on Rexus’s shoulder had grown thirty times her small size allowing Rexus to fly with her to safety.

Rexus hopped off of Venduman and stood next to autorock. Rexus’s arms or whatever was left of them had been cut to ribbons. It would take more than magic to fully heal his arm. So it was with that that Rexus had pulled out cloth and wrapped his arms with it, mumbling spells of healing as he did so. “I’m sideing with Aturok on this one. . . we need a plan, and we need it now. . .”


Max stalked out of the shadows, his eyes had returned to there normal color. So far Max had sustained zero energy’s, keeping to the distance had allowed him that much. Max stayed a few feet away from the group, and listened in on there conversation. . .

"If anythign we were trying to escape.... and now they have Rune and Kaylay... Damn it.... why?!" Silvian was looking down at his paw like hands, and feelign for once, that he was weak.... He was starting to lose faith again in his duties as a Gaurdian and with out word... he took off. Shara had seen this and tried to stop him and he only, pushed her away and said "Just leave me alone!" as he was now gone. Shara stood there feeling taken back and sad.

ATUROK walked over to Shara and placed his hand on her arm "let him go...we all have our ways to deal with the truth he will return" he walked over to a nearby stream kneeling beside it and drank thinking that they could do

“best not to wade through shallow water's when a storms about” Max said from the safety of the darkness. Rexus rolled his eyes and gathered wood for a fire, being as his element was that of fire, he had it going in only a minute. “ come on Shara, Aturok, It's dark times indeed if we cannot keep our tempers down. . . let us prey to the gods for light to banish all darkness. . . and to lighten our thoughts. . .” Rexus clapped his hands twice and the fire rose higher, shadowing his face and anyone who would sit near him.


Max chuckled from over in his dark corners. “ whats funny?” Rexus asked, his temper rising like his own iner flame. “ you think gods would help you all . . . people don't win wars through gods, they win through pure power!” Max slammed his staff down onto the ground trying to emphasize his statement. “all the gods ever do for anyone, all they do is to some benefit to them! Gods wont help you, they never have and they never will!”

"I have a idea.... but we will need Silvian Aturok... And it will be very risky... The king out numbers us, but the amount of slaves they have out number them by a long shot... Perhaps if we can some how take advantage of those numbers.. free them and recruit them to throw the king... as for Rune and Kaylay... We dont know where Zean is... but I know what Zean wants... It was a fluke of luck but.. I managed to get this off of him when we tried to fight him and Dameon.. and that Damn Shadow Bear..." She Shara pulled out and held up what was a round flat piece of glass. It was the Elemental Eye that Zean required to read certain portions of the Daemaricon. She knew it was valuable and or at least, it had to be, for there sake and for Rune's and Kaylays.

Aturok looked over at shara "i know a start...you and silvian have been in this world longer you know the people....and they have a Dameon poseing as a goddess..when they see her severed head they will know no matter how powerful even gods can die....granted shes not a god...but they are simple people" he walked up to shara "let me kill her...rally her slaves behind us"

“and I can help free the slaves!” Rexus said from over by the fire, the flames growing to match his excitement! “ I have a fair amount of knowledge with lock picks! And I can also. . . Force Guards to do my bidding. . . mentally.”

Max laughed. “ you will need a detraction . . . something chaotic and disturbing. . . and I fully Volunteer for it!”

"Rexus... Max... This isnt a game.... Kon will come with Max to help distract and help Rexus free the slaves.... Aturok... Just be careful... Fral is not all that she seems.... We need to find silvian... we cant do this without him.." Shara explained now looking off the direction that Silvian had went.

"This is one half of the element that is the true element.... before you you see the Lightning Seed of Creation... and its other half is fire which is inside the barried force point temple hidden in Tanar's Castle... " Zean explained.

"Wait... I don't understand... One half? True Element?" Rune asked who was tied up along with Kaylay.

"Yes... That is a bit complicated.... but each element has another half... Fire and Lightning are both halves together they would form Pyro the True Element... But it requires three participants to put it together... a Daemon of each elemental half... and the one who weld the Key..... Kaylay..... holds the key of putting them together... The Castafire Key... The Talismen of a Spirit Sage!"

Zean motives and explanation was confusing, how did he know all this? What is going on? Is he responsible for Daemarias disappearance? What are the Spirit Sages?

Aturok nodded "careful as i always am...but ive hunted more vile beasts then her there for i know to be on alert...i will go with you first to find silvian seems it would be better that way nt promiseing it will help but silvian might need all the convinceing he can get" Aturok places his hand on sharas shoulder and walked in the direction silvian went

“who said anything about a game?” Max said leaning against the tree, his black hood barley covering his eyes. “ I don’t need any ‘daemon’ to help me do this. I’m perfectly capable of causing mass mayham all on my own.”

Rexus rolled his eyes and poked the flames with his sword. “ I think Aturok can handle it just fine. What I’m worried about is how all of us will do when the cards fall. I remember a certain someone saying the king was not human. . . I’ll place my gold on that, and I most certainly don’t won’t to fail now. I’ll pack up while you’re gone.”

Silvian stood over a large cliff looking down at a crater that was once Daemaria. He gripped hard onto the crystal pendent on his chest. Why was Dameon and Zean so powerful? Why did they want Kaylay and Rune? The wind blew heavyly, and he felt its force gently breeze past his fur, as if a sign of what was once that has now been gone... a echo of the past. He wanted to know what was he going to do now. Zean.. Tanar.... this busines about the damn key.. the castafire key... what was so important about the damn thing... That was it... it had to be.... it was not that they are powerful.... it was the fact that they are week... so busy lost in there confusion of who they now are.. what was it they where going to do... It was time to bring a new meaning to what it means to be a Gaurdian. In order to face Zean, he needed to get rid of the king first... king Tanar who reign fear amongst the land... The crystal... the seed of creation that layed hidden inside the castle chamber... there was doubt zean would want it, and they would see Zean soon enough, for now he needed to step forward to reclaim the right to be a gaurdian and save the people even..... if they where not his people, they where people need saving....

Gayle was heading home from town, thinking that she heard voices close by, but wasn't sure. But she hurried soon seeing their home in the clearing and thankful that the king and his men hadn't found thier home. From what she had heard from the people in the town bout him she was very thankful. Shaking her head from the voices she thought she heard as she walks into the cabin, "mother i'm home". Setting the basket down with the breads, some meat and cheese she had bought on the table, then walks into her mother's room to check on her, "how are you feeling today mother?" she asks calmly but hurt seeing her mom this way. Her mother responds, after coughing "... think.. i'm better to...day, and don't give me that look" she coughs more, pushing Gayle away. "no fussing over me child". "yes mother, oh i believe we've company in the woods. i'm sure i heard them on my way home." her mother nods, and shoos her out of the room. Gayle shuts the door behind her and goes to put things away and gets a fire started in the fireplace, humming softly as she goes about her housework, but still listening for anyone.

Rexus had finished up packing, everything was in a tight little not in the center of the campsite. . . all he needed to do was cast the right spell and there would be nothing left, not even a sign of anyone camping there.

“velcruize Ehunda” Rexus mumbled underneath of his breath, flicking his wrist as he did so. A faint white glow filled the campsight and soon there was nothing but dried up old leaves.

Rexus strapped on his old green cloak and arrow quiver and began scouting the woods for the Kings men. Rexus’s grey eyes followed everything that walked through the woods. But what caught his attention, was the girl who he would later find out was named Gayle.

Rexus followed silently through the woods and kept mostly out of distance. She could have been one of King Taners followers. Rexus thought to himself as he silently watched hanging from the roof of the girls’ house . . . he would not enter
